Count Down Begins

Tomorrow is World Bread Day.

Photographers who do not bake might
like to buy a loaf and record the event
for posterity.

It's a good way to find out about
different recipes and tastes
around the Planet.

Oh, put the pressure on, why don't you! I keep seeing it ... and thinking ... and knowing that I'm going to have to squeeze in at least a pan of rolls, or something, despite the busy day I have tomorrow! ;)

I'm not the pressurizing type. Years teaching turned me into a "drawing out" rather than a "pouring in" person.

I like the fact that participants in tomorrow's challenge can just go out and buy some bread to photograph.

There is also the possibility of taking some shots of bakers' windows, I suppose.

Glad to see your enthusiam is whetted. I'm off to soak some dried fruit in tea.

Never a dull moment...

See? SEE? It's 4:20 in the morning, I've been up for an hour thinking about whether I should get up to make some bread ... or whether I should just blog the bread I made a couple of days ago. Sigh.

Not your fault - I'm just teasing, you know?

I think my body is rejecting Greenwich Mean Time.

My goodness. You certainly got off to an early start.

Oh, our lives haven't settled yet, quite - our internal clocks don't know what time it is, so we wake up & think that we're done with sleep after only a few hours, and then need naps later. It's ... sad, and somewhat geriatric.
