Brushing Up on French Cooking

Now that we can eat French food in Dublin and are no longer
obliged to travel in order to savour new dishes, it's worth
trying a little virtual exploration in the World of
"Haughty Cuisine".

Some nice tips and much information in the Book linked to here.

I love these little books! I've got the Spain, Malaysia, Morocco and Thailand - essential companions for every trip.

Thanks for letting me know about these books, Caroline. I love Moroccan cooking, though have a limited knowledge.
The Chester Beatty Library has a great restaurant, with many North African and Middle Eastern specialities. A must if you're in Dublin.

Thank you for posting your link.

The food of Britain and Ireland is quite similar. Local variations are seen and these are worth looking at.
